11 months

Dear Ari,

How has it been 11 month already? Time is just flying by!! This has been a busy month! You cut your first teeth (2 of them), started walking with a walker and explored the water park by the house. You are so inquisitive and love exploring new things!

New skills: Walking with a walker, trying to stand up on your own, waving bye bye and saying the words (you have done this 2x now), saying da da when daddy comes home, bear walking when you dont like the feel of something on your knees

We have continued to do lots of different play groups, and you love being around your friends. Its also interesting to me that you have figured out who is leading the group and you like to be close to them when they are singing. Here you are with hanging out Carmen and Kelly and then exploring bubbles with Jacob. You also love mommy's tea cup and you try and get it at any chance you can!




You love to be outside so much. When every the back door open, you make a bee line for it...and you are fast!!! You LOVE going to the park and being on the swing. You could spend hours there! I am so glad that I met Aarav and Aayush's mom in the hospital, as the 3 of you enjoy hanging out together.

 

We had some new family pictures done for Mother's Day. You and your sister looked adorable as always. I love how your personality shines through in these pictures. Just like your sister, you LOVE being thrown in the air!




We celebrated Blake's first birthday! You had a lot of fun playing and celebrating with her!


You have always had a lot of hair! Eben when you were in mommy's tummy, we could see how much hair you had on the ultrasound pictures. It has been in your eyes for a while, so we finally decided it was time to have it cut. You were NOT impressed! It started out ok, but by the end you were so done and over it! You look super handsome. You also look older, which made mommy and daddy a little sad. 




You have quite the personality and it shine through. You have have a great little sense of humour and you know how to make people laugh. You know know when something is funny (like the moustache soother) and you know how to work it. 



We went back to the farm and you really enjoyed playing with the goats in the petting zoo! Thankfully you didn't try to eat any of their poop off the ground. You also discovered that using goat for balance is tricks as they move! 


You are really on the move this month! You have learned to bear walk when something (like concrete) hurts you knees, you gave pull on flat surfaced like a door, you are fast at crawling and even though you cant steer it, you like pushing your walker (or the high chair) around. You are also trying to stand up on your own...but you arent quite there yet.













We had some nice hot days at the end of the month and the water park was on. You like to explore it and weren't afraid to get wet. A couple of times you were sprayed in the face by an unsuspecting water shoot, but for the most part, you enjoyed it. 







These weekly pictures are getting harder and harder as you want to be on the go and you are fast! Good thing mommy is faster and has some tricks up her sleeve!

Dearest Ari, These months are going by faster and faster - time needs to slow down!!! You have no idea how much joy and love you have brought to our family! You are laid back, easy going and your smile just melts all of our hearts - and you giggle, that's the best!!! Dear Ari, Its been 4 months since you surprised us with your early entrance into this world. We are getting to know you and your personality and so far you seem super curious and laid back! You are starting to really notice things and smile at things that you like. You have started to do some more consistent night sleeps (yeah!) and we are starting to get you on a schedule. You seem to like to nap every 2 hours or so - you eat, play and the sleep at around the 2 hr mark. Stats: Height: 22.75" Weight: 11 lbs 8 oz New skills: starting to reach for toys, giggling, rolling tummy to back consistently, standing with support and smiling at things you like  Your sister still adores you, although she does get a little but jealous when mom and dad spend time with you instead of her. She loves giving you hugs in the am and she asks to touch you and give you lots of kisses. If she forgets to give you a kiss before bed or before we leave her at daycare it makes her very upset. Dear Ari, Wow! Time is sure flying by and I cant believe that you are 6 months already - it feels like you have been here for so much longer. You have brought so much love and joy into our family at a time when we really needed it. Stats: Height: 23.5" Weight:12 lbs 15oz New skills:  jumping in the jolly jumper, "talk" REALLY loudly,  talking in a "breathy" voice when happy, sitting in the shopping cart, almost sitting by your self and you are sooooo close to rolling from back to tummy This month you have been working a lot on your sitting - you are super close to sitting alone. You love sitting in the Bumbo and watching us eat and you enjoyed trying to sit in the shopping cart (even though you didn't last too long). Auntie Maya and Noa were still here and you spent some time with your cousin. Ayla loved that mommy bought everyone the same pajamas.
