2 Months

Dearest Ari,

The time is just flying and I cant believe its already been 2 months. It feel like you have been a part of the family forever. You can into our lives at a time where we really needed you and brought so much joy and happiness with you! Your little personality is starting to come out - you seem to be pretty chill and laid back, unless you really want something.

Stats:

Height: 20.25"
Weight: 9 lbs 6oz

New skills: lifting head at tummy time, rolling from tummy to back a few times.

This has been another busy month - the highlight being Sophia's birthday. You had a great day the park checking out all the people and things there. Maybe next year, you will get to swim in the lake like your sister!

Speaking of Ayla, she LOVES you and loves helping you out. When ever you need a new diaper, she brings it and she is always the first one there with a pacifier for you., saying "Mommy I've got this!"

We continued to go to baby time on Tuesday mornings. You enjoy looking around and seeing all the other babies there.

We also went out and about lots! We went to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary, where you slept the whole time and we went to a tea party at Laura's house. The girls all loved holding you. We also went to Kate and Brielle's birthday parties, but again you slept almost the whole time. You did wake up enough to get your first swing with daddy.

Jodi Weston also hosted a baby sprinkle to welcome you to the world! While not everyone came, the people who did spoiled you and love you very much! You were passed around to a lot of different people, and you loved it! I cant wait to use some of things you were generously given that day.

You are a super strong baby! You have been able to lift your head up and look around since the day we brought you home! You love being upright, standing on us. You have also rolled from tummy to back several times, although we have yet to get that on video!

Your uncle Eyal came to visit for a few days. You loved hanging out with him!

Bath seems to be your favourite time of the day - new hardly ever skip it because you love it so much. When you go in the bath you can see your whole body just relax. This is a nice change as at night time, you are still struggling with sleep because of reflux. You squirm and grunt a lot. Mommy even had to take you to the hospital to get checked out as you gave her a huge scare one day!  You had your first x-ray and EKG.

A highlight of this month was going to the PNE and Playland. You slept most of the time in the carrier, but when you were awake you loved looking at all the people and lights. You even got to go on your first ride - a Merry-go-round. Funny story because the operator tried to get me to pay for you, even though you were fast asleep in the carrier.

You are growing and changing all the time. Its so amazing to see this all happen. Here are your weekly pics from this month.

Love you so much!!

Mama
