Dear Ari,
Wow! A lot has happened this month! You have figured out some big skills and you are well on your way to being mobile. You are super determined and that determination has helped you master some tricky skills to keep up with your friends. You were getting frustrated with you inability to move - but you have now figured that out.
Stats:
Height: 15lbs 11 oz
Weight: 24.75"
New skills: pulling up to stand, army crawling, saying "ba ba", grabbing toys that you want, picking up smaller food, walking assisted, trying to bear walk, rocking on your knees
This month started off with a bit of a scare. While we have been giving you peanut better since your first food - you had a reaction to it this time. Mommy was really hoping it wasn't peanut, but in the end it turned out that it was. We took you to the hospital where they gave you a steroid to help with the rash and referred you to an allergist. You were a champ during the skin testing, but we still walked away with a confirmed allergy and an epi-pen.
This month you have learned a lot of mobility skills. We went to an indoor play place and you figured out how to pull up to stand. You love standing, so to be able to do this on your own was a big deal for you.

We decided that your bangs were getting too long and so daddy gave you a quick hair trim. It was sad and what we cut seemed to be the only hair that you hadn't lost since birth, but it was getting in your eyes and food, so it needed to go.
Mommy and daddy got tickets to the Whitecaps season opener - so you came with us. You cheered for the first half and then mommy had to walk around while you slept during the second half. You seemed to enjoy being at the game.
Your favourite things include looking at books, hanging with (and climbing on) Maukie and being at the park. You LOVE the park - especially the swing. You could spend hours in there.
We love spending time with our friends. Here you are with James, Alon (visiting from Israel) and Aayush.
You also have a lot to say, especially when you are tired. When you are tired, you get "chatty" and super giggly. Its really cute. Here are your "ba ba's"
Look at you grow little bubba! Its getting harder to get a good photo of you!
Love you Bubs!
Mama

You also started to army crawl to get where you want to go, get on all 4's and rock and walk holding mommy or daddy's hands. You love being upright and moving, so this new found freedom is amazing for you were getting frustrated as you know what you want, you just couldn't get there before.
We have spent some time with the family - here you are with Granny, Oupa, uncle Shaun and Sabah. Sabah was a away fro a while and now he is back Its funny, you look at him VERY intently, like you are trying to figure him out. You are so comfortable going to anyone, which is great.

While you still have no teeth, you are becoming a good little eater. You will try anything. You seem to enjoy most veggies, turkey and yogurt is still your favourite - you get some after dinner every night. Just like your sister, you have resorted to taking food right out of the grocery cart!
