10 Months

Dear Ari,

The time is just flying and I cant believe that you are 10 months already. You are such a happy baby who adds so much joy to our lives every day! This has been another big month with you learning how crawl, climb stairs and start to cruise furniture...you are unstoppable now!

Stats:

Height: 26"
Weight: 15 lbs 11 oz

New skills: crawling, crawling and then climbing up on something to stand, cruising furniture, climbing stairs, clapping, waving bye and mouthing words

Teeth: 0 - but lots of drooling

This month we celebrated Daddy's birthday. We had Passover dinner on the same night and then we went bowling with some friends.

You enjoyed chasing after all the cool colours at bowling. Thankfully there were lots of people around to chase after you as you are getting fast!

You are still a good little eater and are willing to try most foods. Although you are messy, you dont mind being cleaned up after. You also have a fascination with the cat food - you haven't trying to eat it (yet), but its you favourite place to crawl to.

You started the month army crawling, and very quickly got your knees under you and are now crawling super fast. You even went through a tunnel at gymnastics one day!

You have discovered climbing and you climb on everything - the cats, the play table, the couch,  the stairs, Ayla..whatever you can! You are super adventurous and like to explore!

Ayla wanted to go on a skytrain/sea bus adventure so we took the skytrain and sea bus to Lonsdale Quay for lunch. You really enjoyed being on all the different things and checking everything out. Despite our best efforts, you didnt get an afternoon nap - you were too afraid to miss anything!

The weather has been nice, so we have been trying to spend as much time with our friends at the park. We try and visit with Aayush as often as we can, both at our houses and the park, and after music we often go with Finley to the play cafe. You do like your friends! You love our music class and you are super sad to leave every week.

This month, you were gifted a very special blanket. The organiser of Roots of Empathy has a daughter who was learning how to knit during spring break. She wanted to make a blanket for a baby, and she picked you to get her first blanket.

Your sister was also so excited that you 2 have similar pajamas - batman and batgirl. She loves you so much and she is enjoying you more now that you can interact with her more.

This month your buddies Levi and Thomas turned 1 and went to help them celebrate - which meant playing with our friends. You liked being with your friends and are starting to play more with them, not just near them.

A photographer friend was looking for babies to do some photos to test props, so we went out and got pictures done with her. You did such a good job and the pics are so cute!

For Ayla's birthday, uncle Shaun and Sarah bought us a pass to Maplewood Farm, so we went to check it out. You enjoyed being outside and seeing all the animals up close. You even touched a goat!

Look at you grow! Changing so much every week!

Love you bubs!
