Dearest Ari,
This has been a super busy month for you learning all kinds of new things. You are rolling lots, sitting well and have tried many new foods. You are pretty good at feeding yourself, although you are messy!

Height: 24'
Weight: 13lbs 8oz
New Skills: You are rolling both ways very fast now, sitting up for a long period of time by yourself, feeding yourself lots of food, standing with support, grabbing things with both hands, screaming very loudly wen happy, laughing at things that are funny, jumping with rhythm in your jumper and taking baths in the big boy bath.
So far you love eating foods, but we are not sure how much is actually getting into you. Yogurt is a favourite and you eat some after dinner every night- which the cat loves as likes to lick the bowl. You are gettign much better at feeling yourself finger foods, but using a spoon a lone is still tricky!
We were a few days late getting your 6 month pictures done due to the holidays. We had them done twice and the second set was super cute - you look like a little model. You did such a good job sitting alone and standing holding onto a block.
Bath is still your favourite time for the night, You can be super fussy, but as soon we we take you upset, you get super excited for bath time. Ayla loved helping you with bath so much, that we decided it was time to move you to the big bath and bath you 2 together. You both seem to really enjoy your time in their together.
With a little but later bath tome came another change - you are down to 2 naps/day. You are now doing a morning nap and an afternoon nap.
You have found your voice! In fact some days you will just scream out of no where and it scares your friends. They are happy noises, but boy oh boy are you loud!!! You also love jumping in the jolly jumper and like your sister, you like going upside down.

You are also becoming very stable siting alone for longer periods of time. This has changed how you play as you can now get to new toys and toys in a different way. Ayla is super concerned that you will fall over, so she will often put a pillow behind you just in case.
We celebrated Elijah's 1st birthday this month. You had lots of fun being with family.
No one can make you laugh like your sister! You two have a special bond and its so great to see. You spend lots of time watching everything she does, and she enjoys making you laugh any way that she can - including dressing you up like a princess!

After weeks of struggling, you finally are able to roll both ways consistently. You do a lot more work than you need to going front to back as you plank before you roll. Its pretty cute though. Soon those knees will be getting under you!
