6 months

Dear Ari,

Wow! Time is sure flying by and I cant believe that you are 6 months already - it feels like you have been here for so much longer. You have brought so much love and joy into our family at a time when we really needed it.

Stats:
Height: 23.5"
Weight:12 lbs 15oz

New skills: jumping in the jolly jumper, "talk" REALLY loudly,  talking in a "breathy" voice when happy, sitting in the shopping cart, almost sitting by your self and you are sooooo close to rolling from back to tummy

This month you have been working a lot on your sitting - you are super close to sitting alone. You love sitting in the Bumbo and watching us eat and you enjoyed trying to sit in the shopping cart (even though you didn't last too long).


Auntie Maya and Noa were still here and you spent some time with your cousin. Ayla loved that mommy bought everyone the same pajamas. Its too bad we couldnt get all 5 of the Pulvers cousins together for a picture. 




Daddy really enjoyed dressing you up like him to go to Ayla's Christmas concert. You did a great job listening to her sing, and only got mad when she was done. Everyone knew exactly who you belonged to - you looked just like daddy that day! 


You sort of celebrated your first Hanukkah. Most nights you were asleep when we lit the candles. but a couple of nights you got to enjoy your sister lighting the menorah. You really enjoyed the one book you received as a gift. 




You are a super happy baby and you make lots of cute noises when you are content.



We had our baby Christmas party and you had fun until you got super tired. We didnt stay too long and you started to get cranky and fussy. It also snowed that day.




We went tto play at our friend Aayush's house. His mom and mommy met when we were in the same hospital room before you were both born. We are hoping that this is the start of a long friendship for everyone.



You love your jolly jumper. While you haven't figured out yet how to jump, you love that its a place that you can be upright and explore how your body moves. You have also started sitting at the dinner table while we eat. you LOVE to watch daddy eat - its kind of creepy! You also love being upside down. When you are cranky, we can pick you up by your feet and you are immediately
happy.



You had your first Christmas at uncle Shaun and Auntie Sarah's house. You loved seeing all the people and being passed around. Although you only had a short nap there, you refused to go to sleep for the night until you had a bath - so you were up for a long time before bed. Thank goodness you slept well that night for us!

Dearest Ari, These months are going by faster and faster - time needs to slow down!!! You have no idea how much joy and love you have brought to our family! You are laid back, easy going and your smile just melts all of our hearts - and you giggle, that's the best!!! Stats: Height: 23.5" Weight: 12 lbs 6oz New Skills: Giggling at things (mostly Ayla jumping), sitting up with help (and a bit alone), swimming, kicking in bath, sitting in bumbo, standing while leaning on things, starting to "talk and you like to slam your legs down. We have been enjoying a mild fall, and getting to the park as often as we can. You enjoy going in the swing and playing on the ground in the leaves.  As Halloween was coming, mommy had some fun with you in a pumpkin. You enjoyed it...until you didn't. Dear Ari, Its been 4 months since you surprised us with your early entrance into this world. We are getting to know you and your personality and so far you seem super curious and laid back! You are starting to really notice things and smile at things that you like. You have started to do some more consistent night sleeps (yeah!) and we are starting to get you on a schedule. You seem to like to nap every 2 hours or so - you eat, play and the sleep at around the 2 hr mark. Stats: Height: 22.75" Weight: 11 lbs 8 oz New skills: starting to reach for toys, giggling, rolling tummy to back consistently, standing with support and smiling at things you like  Your sister still adores you, although she does get a little but jealous when mom and dad spend time with you instead of her. She loves giving you hugs in the am and she asks to touch you and give you lots of kisses. If she forgets to give you a kiss before bed or before we leave her at daycare it makes her very upset.
